Foam packaging manufacturer Sealed Air Corporation introduced a new layer of shrink film 29 is only 7 microns thick.

The company at the Paris news conference, said: "This new film is thinner, but the number of layers up to 29 layers, can be made of various materials, in addition to the potential for a further increase to 50 layers."

The company added that the new product called CryovacCT-301 only 7 microns thick, but the intensity is usually no less than 13-15 microns thick traditional shrink films. And heat seal strength and durability has also been improved.

The company, based in New Jersey ElmwoodPark company at a news conference, said the new film in the shrink packaging machine using the temperature decreased. This not only makes it more energy-efficient, but also for medical devices like the heat-sensitive products.
